At 9.50a.m. we are busy setting-up the sales table area. An hour later and visitors are busy purchasing fish and aquatic items.
We had a total of 12 Sales and Information Tables. Business support came from Aquatic Supplies Teeside (online sales) who hired 2 tables, Jffish and The Aquarium Gazette Magazine. The AAGB and Ryedale A.S. had an information table. One stand was full of accessories of all types. 5 aquarium fish breeders hired tables and brought with them a wonderful variety of fish for sale that included Red Prince Los Bearos, Guineara dacrya, Bettaimbellis, Corydoras weitzmani, L519, Woodgrain Whiptails, Scarlet Endlers and Super Red Ancistrus.

Here are some of our friends, including Ian and Ollie, manning stands. Member Becky did a good job greeting visitors.
Ryedale 36 Instead of a raffle we had a grand tombola. We had many prizes (many of which didn’t make our photograph, which was taken in the early afternoon). Steve & Trish Jones kindly ran this part of the event for us. We are so grateful to our members and friends, Pond Planet (Stockton-on-Tees), Aquatic Finatic (Northallerton), Aquatic Supplies Teeside, The Aquarium Gazette Magazine and Nunnington Hall (who donated a family visit ticket) for their kind prize donations.

As the world-famous Rex Whistler painting of the Memorial Hall Children’s Christmas Party, painted in 1943, kept a watch over proceedings, Norma, Carol and Sue (featured in our photograph) kept our visitors well fed. Once again, we were so grateful to the generosity of our members and friends who brought along a wonderful variety of homemade cakes and savouries.

Finally, we thank everybody who came along for their support and encouragement, our members and friends for their generosity and help on the day, our table hirers and showers and sponsors, all who contributed to a successful day.
